Travel Must Haves
Knowing what to pack is essential. Be sure to pack your specific cosmetics, comforts, or other personal needs in case the country you are exploring doesn’t carry that specific item or brand. Which is why I thought I would share some of my essential travel must haves when traveling internationally.

Compression Socks:
Depending on where you are traveling to, expect long flight times. When I traveled to Rome, the flight time was 12+ hours. During flights that have long durations, compression socks will be your best friend.

Portable Charger:
Having a good portable charger will save you! Sometimes airports are extremely crowded and finding a power outlet is almost impossible and not all planes have cable adapters. To save time, stress and money (portable chargers are EXPENSIVE when buying from the airport), please check out this portable charger from amazon.

Neck Pillow:
Listen, long haul flights can start to take a toll on your body. The last thing you want on a long flight is to be uncomfortable. Really consider a good neck pillow and a blanket.

Travel Bottles:
If you are traveling with a carry on, your liquids, gels, and aerosols are limited to 3.4 ounces. Be sure to grab some silicone, carry-on approved travel sized bottles for all of you shower and skin care supplies. You can also buy travel sized toiletries if you don’t want to spend money on the bottles. I get a lot of my travel sized shower and skin care supplies from Target or Walmart.

Vacuum Storage Bags:
If you are someone who travels with a carry on, consider these storage bags for you next trip. They allow more space in your carry on and allows you to avoid the checked bag fees.

Travel Adapter:
If you’re traveling internationally, please be sure to research the type of outlets they utilize for the place you are traveling to. Buying one adapter that suits multiple countries will save you time and money in the future.
Safety precautions:
Making sure I practice all safety measures as a solo female traveler is my NUMBER ONE priority. Regardless of the trip, I like to bring pepper spray (will have to go in your checked back), a door security bar, wedge door stopper with a built in alarm, and a mini first aid kit.
